Echidna front view in darkness

The return of
something primal.

Born from Britain's most uncompromising performance legacy. Built without apology for an increasingly sanitised age.

A statement of intent

Born from Britain's most uncompromising performance legacy, Echidna exists for those who believe driving should still feel visceral, emotional, and alive.

Inspired by the creature of Greek mythology that lived beyond the boundaries of the known world, Echidna represents the untamed spirit of analogue performance — raw machines built without apology in an increasingly sanitised age.

This is not nostalgia.

It is the return of something primal.

The Car

First revealed at Monterey Car Week '26.
Discover the details.

01Bodywork

Fibreglass. Hand-laid. Not carbon fibre theatre. Light because it needs to be. Shaped because it should be.

02Cockpit

Nothing you don't need. Everything you do. A driver's environment, not a passenger's lounge.

03Drivetrain

Naturally aspirated. Rear-wheel drive. No stability systems standing between you and the road.

04Weight

Under 1,000 kg. Because a lighter car doesn't lie about what it can do.

Where we come from

Built in a garage.
Just like the original.

TVR was not born in a boardroom. It came out of Blackpool — a Lancashire town that roared when it could have whispered — built by engineers with vision, grit, and a refusal to follow convention.

Echidna carries that same DNA forward. Not as a tribute act, and not as nostalgia. As a direct continuation of the belief that a small team with a clear obsession can build something the industry's giants will never dare to.

In Greek mythology, Echidna existed at the edge of the known world — beyond the boundaries, untamed and uncompromised. That is where we intend to operate.

Performance philosophy

Speed matters.
Weight matters.
Dynamics matter.
Everything else is decoration.

At Echidna, performance is not a marketing position. It is the reason every decision gets made.

We are not building a car that happens to go fast. We are building a machine for drivers who want to feel the road — all of it — without a computer deciding how much of that experience they're permitted.
